HOZUMA's strap is made using the technique of traditional Japanese craft, "Kumihimo (組み紐)". it's a traditional Japanese art form of making braids and cords. The samurai were the warriors of premodern Japan. They were supposed to lead their lives according to the ethic code of bushido ("the way of the warrior"). Strongly Confucian in nature, bushido stressed concepts such as loyalty to one's master, self discipline and respectful, ethical behavior. We braided them in the spirit of Japanese samurai ,it's about eight virtues bushido .Righteousness , Courage, Compassion, Respect, Honesty, Honour, Loyalty .
It's a flat, soft camera strap. The ring conection part is sewing with the leather，it is best to match the color you prefer with the leather you are making the Kumihimo with. Material: strap: Silk Ring conection part:Leather connect ring: Chrome plating on steel Basic length: 100～105cm including rings XL length: 120～125cm including rings Width:1.45cm Thickness:2.9mm Made in Japan This is for the strap only. Osafune is a Japanese sword hub and has thrived since the Kamakura period as the largest Japanese sword producing region. To this day ,sword smiths and artisans still produce swords here. We braided them in the image of Japanese swords(Katana, Tachi, Ōdachi, Wakizashi, and Tantō). It's a flat, soft camera hand straps. The ring conection part is sewing with the leather，it is best to match the color you prefer with the leather you are making the Kumihimo with.
