HOZUMA’s strap is made using the technique of traditional Japanese craft, “Kumihimo (組み紐)”. it’s a traditional Japanese art form of making braids and cords.
The desigh is inspired by Kikko (tortoiseshell-pattern),it was established in the Heian period and  used for sword straps and armor straps. In addition, the tortoise shell pattern is associated with the auspicious thought of prolonging life and is loved as the most auspicious thing.
It’s a flat, hard camera strap.
The ring conection part is sewing with the leather，it is best to match the color you prefer with the leather you are making the Kumihimo with.
